After eighteen years in public education as a teacher, staff developer and director of technology, Davis became the Director of State and District Relations in October 2009 for Chalkable - an education data management and services company for K-12 school systems around the world. In 2015, Davis became the Vice-President of the Student Achievement Solutions Division of Chalkable. In this role, Davis works with school personnel to use Chalkable's innovative suite of products and services that are designed to bring together information, content and other tools by connecting curriculum, technology and innovation for personalized learning. Mr. Brock has been a presenter at the Alabama Educational Technology Conference, Georgia Educational Technology Conference and has also presented at the ISTE Conferences. He taught for 8 years as an Adjunct Instructor at Alabama State University teaching masters level educational technology courses. He has also presented at numerous local, state and national conferences as an invited guest speaker. As the Past President of the Alabama Educational Technology Association (AETA), Davis was involved with AETA for over 8 years serving as a district representative and the Executive Vice-President and Conference Chair and President. Also, Davis served as the AETA Affiliate representative for the International Society in Education (ISTE) and worked extensively with ISTE staff to promote the use of technology in K-12 education. He served two terms on the ISTE Teacher and Leader Awards Review Committee, two 2 year terms on the ISTE Policy and Procedures Committee. He served as the Chairman of the ISTE Affiliate Membership Committee and on the ISTE Policy and Advocacy Committees. Additionally, Davis served as a National Reviewer for Workshop Proposals for the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), and as a National Reviewer and team leader. Davis has written several articles on Educational Technology Professional Development and Funding that have appeared in the ISTE journal Learning and Leading with Technology.
